call and hangup
"Hello Seniors". I pressed 1, got a young lady with a New York accent. I answered "How are you today?" with a litany of ailments and she hung up. Maybe they'll get the idea that I'm not such a good prospect. ..
Hello Seniors calls me frequently, twice in 1 minute
Change the law to make the CALLER pay the cell minutes bill, like they do in Europe.
I keep getting robo calls from numbers that I do not recognize (got one from 715-275-8685 this morning) but I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number. I once heard that picking up marks the recipient's number as active and it will result in more calls (damned if we do damned if we don't it seems). Anyway I friend sent me this link and idk if it's useful or not but the consumer union seems to want to fight these robocallers, it appears they are the only ones trying to help (full disclosure, I have no connection to consumer union, I am just a person who is tired of getting non-stop robo calls to his cell). My blocked call list grows each day (late model iPhone and android phones have built in blocking that you don't have to pay for unlike the phone companies like verizon which only allow 5 numbers to be blocked for free). and another tip, the do not call list only applies to legitimate companies, this is why despite signing up the calls continue from these scamming criminals. Here is the consumer union link if interested in signing up to their campaign https://secure.consumersunion.org/site/Advocacy?pagename=homepage&page=UserAction&id=2995
Scam call! Block the number

Senior medical solicitation, recording
medical alert scam looking for sr citizens to commit fraud on.
Robocall "hello seniors..." free medic alert system on a recorded message
Recorded message, begins "Hello, Seniors. Recent healthcare ..... ". Just enough to realize it was a robodialer and I hung up.
This number (Card Services) just called me and left a message about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. They have called before and I selected 1 to be connected. When I told the rep I wanted to take my number off of their call list, they hung up on me. I blocked the number.
Credit card scammers.
The call came to my cell phone. I did not answer, because I did not recognize the number appearing on my caller ID. When I called back, A recording (Verizon Wireless) told me the number I had called was no longer in service. Another number for my blocked list.
They say my bank car rate can be lower. I don't use such cards.
