I got these calls for a security system also from another phone number with the same caller ID and saw a comment to call 866-246-7196. They confirmed both caller's phone numbers on their list and then added my receiving phone number on the do not call list. It's been a four days and I haven't gotten any more calls.
The consumer received another call about home security systems and allowed himself to be transferred "because he was interested". Alliance Security Systems, which uses a third party security company to pay for leads through a third part lead company, installs home security systems. The consumer cannot get any information from either company, nor speak with a manager. Alliance Systems claims because they are using a third party that the consumer is being harassed is not the fault of the company. The lead generator company sends these "leads" to thousands of security systems installation companies around the country. The consumer noted that since blocking his number the calling numbers now vary each time he receives a call. Alliance Security Systems claims that the consumer is now on the their company do not call list. These calls come in between four to five times per day for the past eight months now.
