Seniors are eligible for a free medical alert, in addition to 1,000 dollars for groceries. Press 1 ( which I didnot) Scam is as as I'm concerned.
caller left a recorded vm that stated something about liens and wage garnishment if the call wasn't returned. Came up as DC, USA on my phone. My voicemail cut off the beginning of the message. Called outside business hours and to my knowledge didn't state a company name or who they were representing. Glad I checked up on this before I flipped out.
Middle eastern jabber
I received a call from these morons... saying that they had been trying to contact me since January regarding my Tax Forms from 2011- to present 2015 they even said they had forward information to my younger sister (adult) what really scared me was that "Mr. Ross" knew my sister's full name he offered me to resolve this "matter" immediately by paying $3000.00 with a credit card, but since I told him I didn't have that amount money handy he said that I will be receiving a Sheriffs visit at home where they will be handing me important documents. "Mr. Ross also mentioned that if I was not available in person to receive the officer he would be waiting for me to arrive home and then I would be taken into custody... after that he automatically disconnected the call.
