This is a political call. I did not answer. It is from the Political Outreach organization.

Like most others I've seen posted here, the caller (Kevin Smith, yeah right!) knew my name and location. Told me there was an issue with my computer saying that I had several reported issues with virus software/internet browsers. I asked Kevin when these issues were reported? He said a month ago, to which I said that I hadn't used my computer in over a month. He quickly tried to back track, including talking over me. I asked him to tell me what kind of computer I had, and all he said, "You have a Windows processor which I am calling about". I ultimately said I would strongly suggest he try and scam someone else and to remove my name from any and all lists.

Caller claimed to be from IRS to collect funding. They hung up on me when I told them that their number, when googled, comes up as fraudulent.

The number *is* TD, but the only time you have to worry about fraud is if you're ever STUPID ENOUGH to enter or give out your credit card number to a phone number you're not sure of. This 800-466-7295 does not ask for your card #.
