From what I have read they prey on ppl that have recently lost a member in your family. They bagger you into thinking you owe money to them. It is a scam. I didn't talk to them.

I received a call on my cell phone from 425-209-1668. I did not answer. A computer generated message said this call was for Jill Womack regarding a legal documents regarding a complaint that had been filed and to call back 1-888-505-1317 and reference number 2251552. I called the toll free number back and nobody answered and it rolled over to another phone number. Nobody answered there a voice mail greeting came on and said that nobody was available to take my call. So, I called the 425-209-1668 back from a land line and a live person answered. I told her I was returning a call and she asked me what my phone number was. I told her the call stated it was for Jill Womack which was not my name and she hung up on me.

Caller introduced herself as being from "Helping America". I said, "Yes?" and the phone disconnected. Huh... I only answered it because of the 720 area code, and I'm waiting on a call. Internet says, Helping America Group, out of Boca Raton, FL: From their webpage: We take control of your debt to reduce your stress! We are Helping America Group. We are the only program you need to fight for your rights against creditors, debt collectors and collections law firms. Helping America Group requires debt collectors prove that the debt is 100% legal, collectible, valid and verified…or you should pay nothing. We are Consumer Advocates legally disputing debts for our clients. When you sign up with us, you assign your rights associated with alleged debts to us. We assume all or a portion of your liabilities pertaining to those alleged debts that are valid. We step into your shoes, acting as your representative in fighting the creditors and collectors. so take it for what it is... probably a scam. They received their business charter last fall, and it's a different address than what the webpage says.
