they left a message saying that they connected social secueirty number and that this is foe elict to defraud a financial instition. and gave a case number.

Guy (left no name) called looking for my husband saying he's being investigated for check fraud. Said that my husband had 24hrs. to call the fraud dept. back and left a file number or the info. with my husbands name and social security number will be sent to his employer. We have not had a checking account for about 3 yrs. now.

A guy (left no name) called and left a voicemail looking for my husband, said he was being investigated for check fraud and that he had 24 hrs. to contact the fraud dept. or the information along with his name and ss# would be sent to his work. We haven't had a checking account in about 3 yrs. and have not received anything in the mail.
