Didn't get the caller's name. Said he wanted to talk to me. I told him he needed permission for that. I hung up. Why does Samsung (a company whose products I use and love) hide their name in the caller id? It seems no one leaves messages but that's too bad, it really helps communication, eh? Why do I work at scheduling my incoming calls via prior permission and notice? When SNA CCC called, I had just laid down on the couch and was unwinding from a day at the keyboard and petting my dog at the other end of my home, the NON phone end.. In addition, I'm disabled with a back injury, so walking half the distance to get the phone (as it could be important but my next call window was 30 min from then)
carries a considerable pain penalty. Why should my privacy be less respected than let's say, Donald Trump? The interruption would be the same inconsideration and violation of my life? Certainly, he has layers of firewall people to filter his calls and very few have his direct cell. I demand that my privacy, respect and dignity should be as respected as the next man, wether it's the Donald, me, or you. Just because I have a public phone number, doesn't invite you to interrupt and disrespect me without permission?
It has been calculated that at the time of death, 98& of most American males have
wasted 4.9 hours their precious time dealing with telemarketers.
Thanks
This is not a major complaint but a nudge to Samsung to be more sensitive to their customers. I had service recently from Samsung. Several days later, I got a call from this number that came to my cell phone as "unknown", and I did not answer. No messaage was left on my voice mail. Curious, I--like many others--did some Internet sleuthing and discovered that the caller was Samsung Customer Care out of Greenville, SC. Up until this call, my experience with Samsung had been pleasant. I don't know why they cannot leave a message when they get voice mail. It would save a lot of confusion and frustration.
