Called saying they were from my bank and doing an investigation into "suspicious activity" on my card. Got all sorts of pissy when I refused to give them all sorts of personal information (they wanted account number, routing number, and social) to "confirm" my account. Got even pissier when I told them I'd just go into my local branch to work this out and was told, "They can't help you. This can only be dealt with over the phone."

I laughed, hung up, went to the branch and found there's no account issue and we filed a report against the number.

They kept calling me with 2 people names. So I talked to a person and said that the person does not live here. Then about 5 hours later they call me with my name recorded. So now I must wait until the call me again. I'm going 2 tell me I'm going to file a lawsuit and see what they do. :) :)

This number, 866-265-5945, calls me every day, several times a day. However, I have a tricky plan to keep their annoyance to a minimum. First, I forwarded my regular phone to my cell, since that's usually easiest to reach me. Then, I simply added them to my list of phone contacts on my cell phone with a name of Ignore37, so whenever my phone vibrates (I have it set to vibrate), I see the ID and just ignore it. You ask why the 37 at the end? Because I have done this with about forty of such anonymous, insistent callers. Now I never pay a cent, never answer a call, never have to call back, and I eventually wear them out. I have no debts, and never defaulted, so I know they aren't calling for me! Any number I do not recognize and that does not leave a voice mail, I Google and then list them as Ignore##, if necessary. Try it!

Called these whoever back they said they were action INs.Sounds like a debt collector.Just got my phone hooked up 1 week ago.Maybe AFNI out of Ill collecting so I'm told
