That's when no debt exists. Based in India.
My story is similar to others that have been previously mentioned. Midland Credit prey on victims with fraudulent money scams to steal money. I have reported them to the SEC.
They are idiots. They continue to call my phone even after I tell them they have the wrong number. I don't know the people they're looking for; never heard of them before, they have no connection to me whatsoever. They continue to call. They may stop for a while and then start all over again, each time telling me "This call is being recorded for accuracy". Obviously they don't do squat with the recordings because I tell them every, damn, single time that they have the wrong freakin' number. Midland Credit - please crawl back under your rock and die.
Contact your states attorney general and FTC via their websites to file complaints. Calls WILL STOP and you may receive 1,000. Worked like a charm for me. Good luck
