I know someone who has also dealt with collection agency through court action. It has been violating FDCPA law by calling him multiple times for unreal debt. He asked a law firm called "Lemberg Law" to file a lawsuit against the agency. He ended up getting compensation from the court and won the lawsuit.
Keeps on calling day and night very annoying.
