Top Reported Callers in Area Code 210

Recent Call Reports

Keeps calling everyday and won't stop. Keeps wanting money for charity.

I really wish the medical community would stop with the robots. This particular call was reminding my father, who passed away three years ago to schedule his appointment. This was very distressing to me since I am still grieving. I ditched a primary care doctor because they were always having robots call me to remind me about this or that stupid thing that I had already taken care of. I asked them not to use the robocalls for me, but they didn't listen. This Clinic has been informed that my father passed away. I told them this 3 years ago. I have no idea why they are calling now. I guess it's a glitch.

Caller: Diabetes Clinic

Repeated calls from number with no ID.

Caller: Anonymous

This is one of many many calls that I keep getting from "area code 210" that are not in my contacts.

Got a text from this number pretending to be from Spherion Staffing & Recruiting, asking me if I was interested in a remote position.

I don't answer fake numbers

These people are relentless. The company behind the product they are pushing should be fined into oblivion.

Caller: Scammers

These people are trying to trick those on Medicare into signing up for some "program," claiming they will get an amount of money back every month with their Social Security. Plus, they'll have dental and vision coverage. This amount happens to equal the amount they pay for Medicare A & B. That tells me that they are selling an Advantage plan.

At that point, I told them I don't have Medicare and to take me off their list.

At no point did they identify which company they are with.

I want to sue whoever gave these scumbags my number. They called twice yesterday and once today (so far). They spoofed a local number.

Caller: Medicare Scam

Scam

This is a vehicle warranty scam. It dials my number around the same time daily.

Robot caller for Medicare

No response and then hangs up

Accident

Auto redialed missed call. Message to hold line for the next tax line specialist.

Wanted money

Caller: Ted Cruz

These people call me every 2-4 hours, on the nose, pretty much. I know it's the same caller because it's just too coincidental that I'd get calls every two hours like that.

They're getting better at getting around call blocking software, or so they think. They are now spoofing local numbers in order to avoid area code blocks, but they are still failing. I never get any notifications or interruptions, because I block ALL calls that are not in my address book.

Phone companies could stop robocalls if they wanted by just requiring some sort of authentication similar to a captcha that would confirm that it is a live human being calling. Audio captchas DO exist. The blind use them all the time. Actually, call blocking software on the consumer end can do that.
