First got a call asking if I applied to some company. Foreign person so I couldn't hear the company name so I said "yes." Then proceeded to ask me to verify the last 4 of my social security number. Told them I didn't include it on my application. They said "they can look it up on their end." I said it's impossible as I didn't do a background check so there'd be no way for them to know my social security number. Said to go to whatever company website and do whatever and call them back when I'm ready to give my social. I just hung up. Then, several calls about some payday loan scam where a person says "Hi, [name]" and then a prerecorded message pkays asking to call back some 800 number.
