Accident chasers

This number called me today at about 12.45 but was unable to answer it. When I checked the number for missed call on my phone a bit later, it's a number from Birmingham that I don't recognise, and have no idea why they called me. They left no answerphone message.

Person phoning to say we had been in an accident when we hadn't!!

Spam call, faked to give impression of a conversation with a person if you respond to the questions

They called me yesterday and when I answered, after a couple of seconds they hung up.

Accident chasers - an actual person (reading from a script) ... "We understand that you've been involved in an accident that was not your fault .. we can help you blah blah blah"

phoned my mobile; I answered to hear a dead line.

Didn't recognise number so didn't answer. I don't know anyone in Birmingham so either a spam call or mis-dial.
