Same happened here, very aggressive, trying to sell our existing domain to us as it has expired

Said my name name had exprired, where working with Nominet. Said 4 people had enquired about the domain name and I could repurchase it at the auction price circa £1400
very mmuch a scam

I received the same call, though I can't remember the caller.
The 'service' they offer is based on dubious techniques.

Matthew.Claimed to be from Nominet the domain name registrars and tried to sell me 2 domain names related to our business. Very convincing but Nominet are in Oxford not Barrow and we could register the names ourselves for rather a lot less than he was asking!

Says calling about road traffic accident I had in the last couple of years even though I have not had one then says she will remove me from the list?
