Debt collector scam

At about 4:00 pm Wednesday March 20th I receive a call (on my cell) from the Phoenix area 480-498-5553 claiming to be about Google Business Listings. I get several of these type of calls a day and specifically the Google Business Listing calls, which I receive a couple a month (at least) (and for the last several years). Lately I’ve been calling the numbers back in an attempt to find out more as to where they may be originating. So today I called back this number and I got some pre-recorded message to either dial an extension or wait, so I waited and got a message, ” that your call is very important to us, stay on the line and someone will be with you shortly, thank you for your patience… well I waited for about 10 minutes and no one picked up the phone. I called the number again and tried to dial an extension but none seemed to work. I called again and attempted a couple of extensions and finally hit 111 or 112 and got thru to a person. The person (a lady) identified the company as Account Control Technologies or Technology. I asked where they were located, that I had a delivery for them. She asked who I was with and I said Fedex. Account Control Technology is a sophisticated debt collection agency according to their website.
She then gave the address of 5300 Kings Island Dr., Mason, Ohio 45040. She said that I needed to bring the delivery to some special area in the building or complex. I then said that I know where you’re located and that I’ve been getting scam calls from numbers such as these and that I had friends in law enforcement and FBI and I would be alerting them about the fact that I get a call from a number in Phoenix, AZ that routes to your company in Mason Ohio. She assured me that ACT was a legitimate company and that they are know all over the internet. It’s also very interesting that the building seems to be the HQ for Gates Air which seems to be a large telecommunications equipment company. There seems to be no mention or logo of ACT on the outside of this building only Gates Air. Seems like an interesting coincidence that a debt collector and telecommunications company are sharing the same building.
Around 6:30 pm the same day I called the Phoenix number back again and a lady almost immediately answered the phone and identified as Account Control Technology. I asked her what was the relationship between ACT and Gates Air? She asked who I was and I said don’t worry about that, just tell me what the relationship is. She asked again, “ Who’s asking? (or something like that)I told her I knew they both shared the office building at 5300 Kings Island Drive in Mason Ohio. She paused and asked again who I was. I then hung up. It's clear to me that ACT is involved somehow in this Google Business Listing scam. I've alerted Google that they are somehow aiding and abetting the scammers if not doing so themselves in some kind of back-office operation.
