Call my work constantly but won't leave a message when transferred to my line. If I'm not mistaken, I thought it was illegal to contact someone at their work regarding debt collection.

They call my job constantly. I work in a small office and I have asked them not to call my place of employment but rather call my cell number but yet they keep calling. Then when I do answer they need me to verify all personal type of information. I told them if you call my place of employment why do I need to verify who I am? She continuly asked me to verify my date of birth and social security number and if I didn't she would need to terminate this call and try again later. I said Okay...I have asked and asked that they call me on my cell phone and they refuse to do that . Why is that a form of harassement tactic?

They call my work at least 10 times within 3 hours. I've told them to stop calling my work, and call my personal phone if they need me. But they never call my personal phone. I've even had the receptionist say I no longer work there and they still continue to call. They are very rude and cuss at me when I ask them to stop calling. They said I need to grow up and take responsibility for a loan I never even got.

I get at least one call every single day from them. Sometimes it can be as many as 6 calls per day. They always leave an automated message saying that I need to get in touch with them about an urgent business matter. I am not even the person that they are looking for. I've returned their call multiple times and threaten to report them to the FTC, BBB, and any other agencies that can help stop them from repeated harassment of people. They are the worst nuisance callers I have ever encountered.
