Frequent caller

Caller: Midland

Caller from this number leaves a recorded message threatening me that my social security benefits will be suspended and revoked if I don't speak to an agent ("to speak to an agent press 1"). So I went to the nearest SSA office and was told it is a SCAM, do not answer the call!!

Keep calling from different numbers.

Spam

Tries to collect on long expired credit card balances.

Called twice, blocked now

Bad collection agency

Calls on the weekend too

I have received nine calls this week from 320-207-5850, even though they can't get through, because of a service that I have that disconnects after one ring, they continue to call. The caller id shows unknown caller, I Googled the number and it shows that it is a debt collector, I do no have any unpaid debts, and a very high credit score.

Caller: unknown

Scam

Unknown, unsolicited, undesired, and usually a Non-Fixed VoIP call!

Call call every morning and use different numbers !Today it was 320 207 5850. We do not owe a single cent to anyone and despite blocking and getting on the DNC list - they continue to try every day. How can we report this and sue them ? They have been calling for the past 3 months almost every day!! ANNOYING!

Not a robo call. These people have called me twice a day for the last 4 days (Saturday and Sunday at 8-freaking-am) and they are "debt collectors". I don't owe anyone any debt. Good luck understanding a single word they say....definitely calling from India. Fuck people like this!!!!

No message. 800Notes logs silence when answered, then hangs up.

i received a call from the number above and been harrassed by the people on the other end of the line. The number is being used by a bill collecting agency. They will not stop calling my phone number...

Caller: asset acceptance

Someone from Asset Acceptance is calling my home looking for a relative that does not live with me anymore. Because I have an answering machine on my phone, they leave smart messages like, "If you are listening to this message then you must be Ann." Also I have just received a new telephone number after changing to a bulk cable, and internet service. I wonder how did they get my phone number that I have not given to anyone except a few family members.

Keep calling for a michele that does not live @ my address or phone number. I always push option 4, not @ this number but keep calling.

Debt collection agency. Asks for someone I've never heard of. When I tell them I've never heard of them, they usually hang up. But they call back every 2 - 3 days. From what I can tell this is a collection agency that buys up really old debts and tries to get you to acknowledge that the debt is yours to bring the "dead" debt back to life, and then they try collecting on it.

Asset Acceptance has called 6 times and asked for somebody who doesn't live here or have this phone number. I have told them to remove us twice, but they have kept calling.

443-550-7962 (Maryland I.D. by caller I.D.) This telephone number makes the call. When the telephone recorder on my end picks up the call, a computer generated man's voice states that the phone call is for a "Lee E. Quintle or Quindle" and then states that continuining to listen means that our phone end is Lee E. Quintle. Then a man's voice comes on and states that his name is Mickey Hart and that he is a debt collector with "asset acceptance". Then the man's voice identified as "Mickey Hart" gives a telephone number to call --- 866-580-4816.

Today I picked it up as I was expecting a phone call for my wife from an insurance Exam. Nurse. My wife's maiden name is D.J. Evans, now D.J.Hammer) (My name is Forrest Hammer and D.J. Evans = Debra Jo Evans married me in 1982 - but she had a business then and we did not change the phone number since 1982)
Once I picked up the phone a computer generated woman's voice came on and said that I would be put on hold until the Lee E. Quintle could get to the phone. I then promptly ended the call.

This telephone number has been calling us for about a month and a half now.

There is no Lee E. Quintle here by that name.
Only the "Hammer's".

With things like this going on there is no wonder that the good ole' USA is under attack. We are destroying ourselves from within. Something needs to be done about this type of advertising as it can easily lead to "terrorists" using this to generate money. This really scares me.

Thank You. Forrest V. Hammer.
