The call came in as "Matthew Laurence Telecommunications Engineer" but was from TL the collection division of Christa's Health. Very rude and demanding.

IRS scam

Voicemail left "Hello we have an important message from TL arrange the collection division of Christa's Health. Please call 1-800-877-8572 at your earliest convenience. Have your home phone number available for the representative to assist you. Again that number is 1-800-877-8572 thank you and have a nice day."

I had routine blood work drawn in Dec 2016. Received a bill for a $75 copay for routine blood work. Humana and asked why I had to pay a $75 copay. They reviewed my case and determined I did not owe a copay on a routine clinic visit. I called the debit collectors office and talked to a very condecending person who told me that she could not recode the chart to correct that. I told her I had an RHIT degree same as hers, if she even had a degree, and I knew the visit ICD10 code could be changed. She refused to call Humana Medicare to talk to them as they had requested. I told her she was committing Medicare fraud.

I was told by medicare that I didn't owe the $75.00 copay. The rude person at TaLRA said she could not change the code on the chart. I called Humana Medicare and they said I didn't owe a copay as the blood tests taken were related to my out patient and I didn't owe them a copay.
