This number calls multiple times a day, every day, morning and night. I have told them I am on the Do Not Call Registry, but they call any way. They are very threatening, abusive, and rude. I have never had a student loan, and I do not know the person they are looking for. Just another debt collecting scam.

Caller claimed to be from "Department of Education" and claimed I also owed a student loan, despite the fact I'm on permanent disability, and have been for a very, very long time, AND my loan was both paid off / accepted as being dismissed due to the conditions of said loan. I'm sick of these scammers and scumbags trying to get money out of me, even though I don't owe them anything. They've also threatened me, which is against federal law. They call almost every single day and send harrassing mails to my home and parents as well.

Can I send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS LETTER to these people?

These people started by calling my 80-something parents, finally pressing my father into giving them my number under the guise that the call was "about a time-sensitive issue-and time was running out..." they breezed past my Company's Admin. Department the same way.
At NO time they properly identify themselves, used deception and manipulation to get what they wanted, without ONCE reciting the "Little Miranda" as the Legally required process. These are the worst types of parasites there are. They work for themselves, NOT the Dept of Education, which wrote my Loan (and THAT'S a separate story-the "School" left town overnight under investigation by the State Attorney General's Office for Criminal Fraud.)off over 20 years ago.
They revive an old file, find a friendly court and raise as much havoc as possible. In this case, they ARE aiding and abetting Criminal Fraud.

They called here but would not give information. This was concerning my daughter's student loan, whioh she never repaid.. They would not confirm this but, I am 99 % sure this is what it was about. They have been calling for years. Anyone who owes a student loan, needs to set up some kind of payment. This thing lasts forever. You never get rid of it. If you worl and have a tax refund owed to you, they take it every year. They call consistently Honestly, they are like a parasite. Yoou just don't get away without paying them.. You can negotiate with them. They will drop all interests to reduce the bill. They will work with you. Otherwise, they do not leave you alone. They never go away!l .

They called to ask if my last was 6369, and if my name was Olumuba. All the information they gave about me are wrong. In addition I do not owe them anything. Today,3/24/11, Mr. Dan called my house in the morning at 8:10 AM and left his name and # (800-896-4539 Ext. 14727). I told him to stop calling my house. He promised to remove my # from his list. I do not know how sincere he was.

This company KEEPS calling for a "Stephanie Ignat" and a "Stephanie Wilson" and recording asks you to call 877-528-3499 to be removed from call list if you're not that person. Have repeatedly asked that our business number be removed (and they say, "you're not Stephanie Wilson" and I say no and don't know her and then they ask for a forwarding number for her!!!???) EOSCCA has called our business TWICE now within a week, but this began at least 3 YEARS ago!

Trust me, these idiots are obtaining people's phone records and calling you because the person they called looking for has called your number at some point in time; even if it was by accident. Hmmmm, is that even legal?! I had 2 phone messages from this number (E.O.S.C.C.A.) and I called the person they left the messages for. I don't even know him personally. I've met him once. He is the boyfriend of one of my friends that lives 750 miles away and she use to call me all of the time from a cellphone that was in his name. He had some type of dispute with the cellphone carrier about some bogus charges and changed to another carrier. He was pissed and refused to pay a fee that they are now trying to collect and have screwed his credit report doing so. That is the only possible way they could have gotten his name and associated it with mine; since I really don't know him. I called E.O.S.C.C.A and they lied to me telling me at first that he gave my number as a reference! Funny thing though, they didn't even know my name or the name of the person he supposedly gave as a reference when I asked what name he gave! He couldn't even come up with one! I said "how can you tell me he gave my name as a reference, when you don't even know what my name is?"! I told them to remove my number from their list and not to call me again. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST on top of that. Idiots!

Received several messaged from Keith Harris at EOCCA and they are from different phone numbers. One was 800-896-4539 ext 14740, another was 781-871-8213 and some were from a number that just says (Res) tri-cted. One message says he was "attempting to collect a federal debt", which doesn't make any sense. I don't bother to call such unprofessional sounding people back.

I have been called every day from this number regarding my son.
When I try to call the number back, the call will not connect. It is harrassment. They always call when I am not home and leave a phone message.

Have called my parents house a couple times looking for a old roommate of mine who I lived with in another state. Wouldn't tell me why they were looking for her.

The 1-877-528-3499 phone number belongs to Collection Company of America. Their address is 4099 McEwen Dallas, TX. 75244. They are a collection agency for AT&T phone company. They have been calling my husbands work harassing him. They tell you that they have to collect the money all at once. They try to get your checking account information. You don't have to give them your social security number either. They looked up the account by the address. You can also make your payments to AT&T directly and bypass the collection company. They will tell you that you can't do that so that they can make their commission.

Left a message re: debt with an extension which does not seem to exist. They also left a ref. # which they could not find. I was calling back from a different phone and they could not find a reference to the number they had called. So the the next thing they wanted was a social security #. seriously, I was going to give them a social security # for the asking. It was a scam! I have a feeling that they will not be calling again.

ATT&T sent e-mail clearing up this collection 1 year ago. guess who is still calling me at all time of day and night. need these people to be put on the ??? watch list for possible problem people.

These people called my house said it was eocca I asked who they where and they hung up it was a lady with an accent anyway I called back and said i would like to know who you are and she said hold on a minute but I hung up. to search to see who they are..I hope they stop calling me cause I will have them brought to court as They have been told to stop. please advise what other steps can be taken thanks
