Yes, this IRS Scam number is a problem. Why is it allowed to go through,
given the severity of the bogus number? I am on the do not call list.

called our dealership asking for the President or a corporate officer. said his name was Mark Fittipaldi. Would not leave a number to have someone return his call, but insisted on being transferred to a voicemail. Sounded very scammy to me

They called me knowing my name and wouldn’t state who they were and demanded i confirm who I was and give them my birthdate. Very suspicious!!!! And I hung up. Never give your information over the phone

Why was this call able to go through, despite the fact I am on the "Do Not Call Registry?"

Calls several times a week. Day, and night. They never leave a message. Like the others, I have no IRS dept. I am a disabled veteran, living on VA disability. These opportunists disgust me.

Did not catch the persons name but said they were calling from IRS to collect a debt, Then proceeded to ask me if I gave permission to record call. I told her no and she said have a nice day and hung up.

Actually you did not sign any contract with the Debt Collector. If they say you have make them produce the contract.

Claimed to be calling as a contractor on behalf of the IRS. Siad his company was Comserve "ID umber 005080) to collect on a tax debt. After stating that the call would be recorded for security and quality assurance, asked if he had permission to proceed, so I said no and hung up.

Perkins loan debt collector won't stop calling me after I told them I'm not interested several times

The company is Conserve. They are debt collectors. My phone said potential spam and they left a voicemail that said "We have an important message from Conserve. This call is a debt collector. Please call 866-465-2700". I called back and they said I owe on a perkins student loan provided by my college. I asked why it wasn't with my other student loans and the guy said because the servicer is ECSI, not Mohela. I need to further investigate what this company is about. They said it's free to consolidate it with my other loans. I just don't think I should have to pay additional fees. He mentioned that my promissory note states that collectors can add these costs because I signed a contract. Who is going to read 20 pages of incomprehensible loan jargon? Nobody!

Vanguard Perkins Loan sent to collections. Conserve is the company. They advised me to consolidate rather than rehab because I'm unemployed and can't afford payments right now. They said it's possible my taxes could get taken for non-payment.

Today, called ID indicated Conserv from 844-466-5519. Caller asked for my husband by name. (We have repairman scheduled today, hence I answered thinking it was repair shop.) Husband briefly listened to caller asking about tax lien, we don't have a tax lien. Caller said he must have wrong number and indicated he would list our number as wrong name and number.

I got a call from them and ask what the guys middle name was and he told me Nelson. Zachary Nelson Jones LOL

Called my cell, again. 4th time in 3 weeks. New year, same SCAM. IRS collections.

Recieved a call today on my CELL phone stating that they were a collections agency for the IRS which is BS because the IRS will send you certified letters if you owe them money trust me been there done that and they said they were trying to collect a debit for a company I owned years ago that was dissolved and owed the IRS noting when it went out of business I made sure of it. And like I said IRS will NEVER call you without Black and White on paper correspondence first PERIOD ITS A SCAM somebody trying to get something for nothing probably some leftist Democratic millennial's

The IRS does seem to be using a 3rd party debt collecting service though, so it may be real (and I do owe some tax money).
