The caller introduced himself as Ted, calling on behalf of my Bank, to congratulate me on keeping my credit card paid-off. He went on to start offering me magazines on ho to protect myself from Identity Theft, and a "free $200 gas card". Somehow, he knows my credit-card number, but not my bank's name, who he said he is calling for.

When I told him that I worked in IT Security, and that I handle Identity Theft, online fraud, and other scams on a daily basis, he rushed to end the call.
