Fake Comcast number called for services I don't even have

Called about a service I don't have

Their robo message referenced they are trying to collect a debt on a family member who has been dead 30 years (and had no debt we know of). As if someone who is owed money is going to wait 30 years to try and collect. Obviously they are just calling names from some prospect list. A cheap prospect list that has long-dead people on it.

These people call daily now, giving another # 2 unsubscribe from the list receiving repeated calls.

Calls go directly to the voice mail

I have been called three times. It says it's a debt collector. Nice to know that it's a spam call.

We don't have and haven't had cable for year's . We've always had directory to t.v and it's understable my husband’s name

Spam robocaller claimed they were my "local cable provider" and pitched special offer to return leased equipment. (Did switch providers a few months ago, but I got confirmation they received my equipment, and this caller provided no details that would have been given if it were real).

They call twice per day. When the answering machine come on, there is just the sound of a dial tone. This has been going on for weeks.

Message that router hadn't been returned. Router was returned directly to cable provider (Charter) two months prior to this call.

When you answer it's in automated message what'swhen you answer it's in automated message with your name.

My home was made unlivable by a tornado on dec 23rd. I contacted charter cable to stop my service until we got a trailer on the property when we start to rebuild. I explained that the modem was damaged and that the Servpro had it. I also told them I would I would be resuming service in a few months. They said fine. I got a call from charter a week later asking when I was going to return the modem. I explained AGAIN my situation. They said they noted my account and told me to not worry. I have gotten two calls so far from this number. I have explained my situation and they insist on sending me a "package" to return the equipment that I don't have in my possession. They want to know approx when I will resume my internet service. I am beyond pissed. My house has to be gutted and rebuilt. I think I deserve a little understanding at the least to leave me alone for a while. Instead I have to worry now about a hit to my credit on top of my house and contents being destroyed.

Recording states they are my local
cable company with an easy way to return my equipment. Limited time offer. I recently moved my equipment has already been returned. This is not a number for my old or new cable company.

Start of call states that I failed to return my tele-communications equipment, and they are offering deals.

Partial message says, "… please call us back at 1 800 326-1879. For your convenience, you may also access your account information at our website, www.ersreturn.com Please reference your account reference number 01680300041. This offer is for a limited time, so please, call us back as soon as possible. Again, our toll free phone number is 1 800 326-1879. Thank you."
