Does not have permission to call

I blocked them on my cell phone. They kept calling but would not speak when I answered the call.

Called my Cell then my work number saying it was a debt collection. I have no debt on my credit report to pay as it was all paid off last year. I told the gentleman it was distasteful and rude to call my work for nonsense. He responded with "So is not paying your bills".... Really, show me where I owe it? I can't find anything on it. Blocked them on my cell phone and I hope they don't call my work again.

Some person claiming to have authority to work with me to resolve an unpaid debt but they don't even know who I am? 100% spam.

Called my private cell phone number with no caller ID asking for my son. I told them they'd reached company x and not to call here. If you call it back to identify them, it says the caller you've reached is not in service

Calls but does not leave a message

They called and asked my name. I did not say who I was. I asked what it was regarding. They said it was a personal matter. I asked again and they said the same thing. I told them if they did tell me what it was regarding I would hang up and block them. The guys said again that it was a personal matter. So I hung up and blocked them. If you can't tell me what it's in regard to. I'm not going to tell you who I am. The guy sounded like he was from India. I could not understand his name.

Called and ask for Jose I do not know this person!! I told them that and they said I was a liar!!

Debt collectors of the worst kind! These guys are bottom feeders, and will hound you daily. Block their number, report them, what ever you have to do to get them to stop calling.

Debt collectors very rude, attempting to collect on an account that is over 10 years old.

I get repeated calls from this number -- three to four per week -- with no response when I answer. If this is actually Financial Recovery Services, I also receive calls from them from 866-304-0561 and 360-474-3986. When I have receive calls from the last two numbers I have always let the caller know the person they are calling for is at work during the day and they need to call in the evenings. Now it appears that they are calling to "collect" on a "debt" that has long since (over 10 years) been settled.

if you are not the person they claim to be calling, call them a dozen times for every time they call you.

do not tell them anything. just demand to talk to the person who called you. do not give your name, as they do not use real names when making calls.

if you get a recording telling you to leave a message, just put your phone by the television speaker, and let it run for as long as it will allow.

(if you really owe the debt, contact the ORIGINAL creditor if you want to be honest and pay your just debt. Do NOT deal with these 3rd party collectors.)
