I received the same call and a recording left the same message on my voicemail. I used another phone to return the call and the recording said something about SMRR Collections. I'm not familiar with no collection agency and I have nothing in collections. I hung up the phone after hearing the recording as to who this call is from.

Calls every day, I called back and told them to remove my number.

They are calling about my husband who has never gotten a payday loan. They said they were JCC LLC in Miami, FL. There are other numbers that are very similar such as 855-283-8191 that were claiming to be IPS, but they didn't give me a location. The recording at the beginning for both JCC and IPS are identical so I believe it's the same scam. Do not fall for it and file a complaint.

File it with the FCC. I filed a complaint on 855-283-8187 and 855-283-8188 both claiming to be JCC Arbitration, which are obviously scams. They will be threatening an aggressive to get what they want. Just let them know your rights and they'll hang up. I blocked both numbers and do not give them any of your personal information.
