Caller spoofs number from Houston -- company is most likely in TN -- requests personal information (PII - personally identifiable information), which can be used for identity theft. Lookup shows it as Frost Arnett and says they change their number to avoid detection. Illegal?

Called me around 8am on business line. I didn't get to phone on time so it was a missed called. Called the number 713-300-2683 back from caller ID. Asked what it was about? Lady that answered asked me what was my phone number? Gave them my phone number and said they couldn't find me on their system and apologized calling me by accident.

It's a collection company that keeps calling over a bill that has long since been paid. They keep threatening to sue me. I told them to bring it on since I can prove the bill has been paid since I did the payments through my banks bill pay service. They get pissed and hang up on me when I tell them that, but then they call back the next day.
