"continue" click thinking you'll get questions, instead it gives error message that you have to call 800-318-2596 customer care. Asked for my full ss# phone# email address, & address, sent code to reset password, couldn't copy & paste, had to split screen & type in. Today major retailer notified me someone tried opening account in my name! FRAUD ALERT

PIA Marketplace health insurance scam November 15, 2017

This number calls me every other day from the end of October until December. This has been going on for years. I already have medicare AND other insurance, that together handles everything I need. I have never even looked at the website or called these people. The very first call in 2013, I answered. They told me medicare gave them my info to sign up for other insurance. I told that rep that I already had other insurance along with medicare and to remove me from their list. They said they would, but evidently never did. And when I told the medicare rep not to share my info with health marketplace or healthcare.gov, she said medicare never shared anything with them. I have no idea how they got my phone number and my name, but I wish they'd stop leaving voicemail messages on my prepaid cell phone. The emails are easier to deal with. I just mark them as spam.

The recording quality was too good for a spoof-scammer, though I wouldn't rule it out. It was an actual woman's voice, not a digital simulation robot speech synthesizer. Regardless, I don't have an American Express charge card....if it's really them, how did I get on the dialing list?
