Medical debt

Caller: Medical revenue

ACTUALLY, another commentor is incorrect. If you state you can not pay the bill, they can not continue to contact you. I have went ahead and have retained a lawyer that will be doing this for me PRO BONO. After being spoken to rudely several times and my explaining that I just do not have the money they said they will have my wages garnished and they also threatned to have me arrested (BOTH big no nos). I refused to give any information to them as I do not give that information over the phone to anyone PERIOD. My advice to everyone....look up collections laws in your state as well as see if there are lawyers that can represent you at a low cost or where the debt collections will end up responsible.

They called here twice today (1/19/2024). First looking for me then for my husband. They knew my birthdate but not the year for me and kept asking my husband for his info. Both times we stated we would not give them that information. Both callers were rude and very pushy. I then called them back and told them to remove our number. THey asked for the name or names of the persons associated with our number and I said that they will be facing a lawsuit if the calls do not stop. When I mentioned LAWYER the lady got all weird and said that I needed to watch my tone or else. Or else what? you are going to try and get blood from a turnip lady. She then stated that if I can afford a lwayer, then I should be able to pay my bill. I said two words- PRO BONO. That caused her to pause but then I mentioned the firms name and she said she was removing the number and that they will not be contacting us anymore. We will see. I do have a lawyer retained and yes they are doing it PRO BONO. I did find out that if they continue to call and I keep track it can end up costing them 1,500 to 5,000 PER call or letter they send. I am fed up with these companies and their shenanigans. It should be illegal for any company to sell their debts to another company. Regardless if there is a debt owned. in my case, I was laid off and have been having trouble finding work that pays a living wage. I will NOT be entertaining their need to be rude and condescedning to people that have fallen on hard times. My advice to anyone who is being harrassed by debt collectors, find out the laws in your state. Find a lawyer that will REVERSE the charges to the debt company. I am not going to publish my lawyers office here but I will say they are being a huge help and I will not be getting harrassed much longer.

They call to much

Caller: Spam

They are f*#&ing rude people. They will not give you information for who they are trying to collect for. But when you try to talk to them to figure it out, they talk over you, won't let you talk, then holler at you and hang up.

Wanting money that I never received bills for

Called four times in a row, (10:05, 10:07, 10:07, and 10:10) to the car dealership where I work, the second and third calls were while I was ON THE PHONE CALLING BACK THE NUMBER>)) There is no way to tell which number they were calling in on, since it is all robo-calling and our dealership has multiple phone numbers (sales, service, parts, etc) routed to the reception desk where I answer the phone. There is no reference number or anything in the message, just the phone number, so it is useless to try to figure out who they have the wrong number for. If nothing else some kind of identifying info (not the name obviously) should be left in the messages so the nonsense can be stopped.

The Medical Revenue Service employees taking calls are RUDE-RUDE-RUDE! Although the hospital did submit an amount due, it was an accounting error on the statement - not an a actual debt owed. The folks don't want to hear that and become very rude, very quickly. BEWARE. I can't deal with these people, so I'm having to go back to the hospital to try to resolve the issue -- again.

they lie about giving a discount and settlement plan for big bills.

I do not owe a single medical bill so why are these people trying to claim that I do? That would require me to have had medical care which I have not in years and back then it was covered by the military and my supplemental plan. No medical bills at all - PERIOD!

They definitely aren’t spam. But they are a$$holes! They put a report on my credit while I was paying off the account and everytime I have called to update my information they type in a number wrong, so it gets declined!!

Caller: Medical Revenue

Call me for a medical bill I know I had already paid. The lady got upset when I asked for a website instead and questioned why would I need it if I already paid. Continued to give me an account number and a website but didn’t bother to go slow or confirm the numbers. Total scam

Caller: Account Service

I refuse to answer as it alerted me as spam- however Voice mail of some medical collection agency I have never heard of.

Caller: person

This person called and would not identify themselves. Said call was being recorded. Asked for my birthday and I asked who they were. They refused to answer until I gave them my personal info. I told them that I do not give that out on the phone and they can send something through regular mail if they want to contact me. I didn't give my address. Then i hung up on them.

The caller did not identify them self but wanted me to very who I was by giving them my DOB and SS, I asked them to give it to me and I would verify if it was correct, they hung up

Caller: some lady

They claimed to be Medical Collections, but they insist I give out personal identification information to identify myself. If they were real they would know my full name, birthdate, etc. -SCAM- Looking to get you to disclose your birthdate, address, full name, etc.

Social security

Yes they called me also and I know exactly what it is about. I went to the emergency room and didnt have insurance so now i owe money.
To all the people who say this number is spam, it isnt. And if you think they are, you should get a letter from them in the mail around the same time they start calling. You have 30 days from the first letter to dispute the debt. Google CFPB debt dispute letter or your state finance protection
and change the template information to your information, send it certified mail (delivery confirmation) to the address on the Medical Revenue letter and wait until they mail you back with either correct information that its your debt or they made a mistake

Well this company violated federal guidelines, best known for HIPPA they spoke with my child and told her she better whip out a credit card and pay a bill for her father asap. But, my daughter told them she was recording the call and they hung up. Jokes on them since she a lawyer

I have been receiving multiple harassing calls from Medical Revenue Debt Collection services. I cannot get a word in edgewise. The debt they are calling about has been paid directly to the provider but it is impossible to even speak about this to this company. THe rude person just keeps telling me that I HAVE to pay right then and there on the phone with a credit card. I asked them repeatedly to mail me a bill so I could review it and they refuse. I finally just blocked their number.

Promociones

If you've ever been hospitalized for emergency surgery and can't come up with the co-pays for the hospital and various Drs you will hear from these folks pretty quickly.
