PROGRESSIVE FINANCIAL SERVICES INC

Saw the caller ID and didn't answer. We are on the Do Not Call registry and have been for years.

Progressive Finance. They call at all times and really don't care if you are not the person they are looking for. About to file a report against them for harassing communications.

who are these people?

I've been getting calls from them for months. Three times this week...sometimes every couple of days, sometimes a month or two of peace. They never leave a message. I blocked the number, but it still gets through. I have answered the call a few times, and they are looking for an old roommate of mine from 20 years ago. I don't have his number. They say they will remove my number from the file, but the calls continue.

I never went to school and never took a loan. But they call to collect so this must be a scam. I just never answer numbers I don't know.

Called me claiming to be Progressive. I acted as my secretary to call back and they gave me the number 18007310236. I do not have Progressive. Probably a scam!

I was called regarding someone else. I have the same Last Name but no where close to the First Name. Why should I be getting these types of calls?

I started receiving calls from this number last week. It was a long message on the answering machine. I called them back to have my number removed as I don't know the person they were asking for. Finally got thru to someone and I told them I didn't have an account nor was I giving them my social security number. I told them I was just doing what the recorded message said to get my number removed. She asked me to verify the number and assured me my number would be removed from the database. the next day the calls started again for a different person. I called right back after one of the calls on a Saturday to receive the message that their office was closed. I was able to leave a voice message and I stated what the issue was and what my number was so it could be removed from the data base for this person also. Monday another call for the same person was on my answering machine when I got home from work. I called and went through the whole process to speak to a person. Again I don't have an account nor am I giving them my social security number. I was told my number would be removed from their database (that worked so well the first time). I said the last person verified what the number to be removed was. The representative said I have it and he repeated to me what showed up on his screen. It will be interesting to see what person I don't know that they call for today.

Navient Debt Collections: The operators give the company name as "Progressive"... Misleading.

I've had a couple calls from this number but they never leave a message. I certainly hope they aren't calling in regards to my student loans because I've never missed a payment and my payments have always been in full.

Said they were progressive asking for Social Security numbers and addresses I do not have progressive insurance any shape form or fashion it was not a legit call tried to call and get your information over the phone probably scammers

It's impossible for them to be able to collect on any if my student loans. They were completely paid off 7 yes ago.

James will tell you to sell your body parts then garnish your wages at very high rates. They give you no options.

keeps calling 3 or more times a day never leaves a message. I always let it go to answer machine to screen call.

Calls everyday. Very annoying!

The caller did identify herself, but I couldn't understand her.. she kept asking for someone I have never heard of. I told her I had no idea who she was asking for and that she had the wrong number. She then asked me to provide her with the number for the person she was trying to reach. I told her again, I had no idea who this person was she was looking for. She kept arguing with me that I did know this person ... I hung up.

This is a rude debt collector for the state of minnesota. I owed taxes and a late parking ticket. When I took their call the woman was very rude and wanted my social security number but wouldnt tell me what it was concerning. I refused to give personal information over the phone and she was not happy about it. Once I called the state I found out they had rolled my debt over to this company Progressive Financial Services. So I guess they are not a scam, just aggressive and dumb.

Leaving messages for my over 21 son, who DOESN'T live here, and hasn't for three years. However they leave information on the answering machine...after they tell you that if "you aren't" that person to" hang up now".... They are live callers who don't stop talking!
