Never received a bill and now collection agency calling pre recorded. I won't stay on phone to talk to a scam artist.

They have called several times. Its always a prerecorded message. If you are not deadbeat debtor, hang up now. Blah blah blah. I'm not sure their computer is pronouncing the name correctly, but the person they are looking for is Goanne Fookyersef. Thats what it sounds like anyway. Seriously. LOL

Recording to wait for a collection agent to get on the phone.

Pre-recorded message. They talk to me through a machine. That shows me they do not value me as a human and all they are out for is money with no regard to circumstances of the person they are phoning.

This morning I received a call from United Revenue Corporation of Arlington Texas. The female rep. was giving me her line about "this is an attempt to collect a debt" I replied " I don't deal with creditors over the phone if you wish to correspond with me please do it by mail". She replied to me "Whatever!" and hung up on me.I was not rude to her nor did I refuse to pay or even inquire about the bill they were collecting. I was merely asking for something in writing. I am a disabled 31 year old woman with a brain tumor. I called the number back and another female rep. answered and when I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told how this was my fault and was offered no apology whatsoever. Finally the supervisor gets on the phone (she sounds like the lady who hung up on me the first time) and reiterates how this is my fault and hangs up on me once again. My understanding is this company only employs 10-20 people at a time and when I had called back to speak to a supervisor the rep. I was waiting on the phone with was tellin me she knew I had been hung up on and who had hung up on me... I did not deserve what I got and companies like this need to be SHUT DOWN. What ever happened to human rights and kindness? If I were a company and trusted URC to collect a debt for me I would be very unhappy with their tactics. NO ONE should be treated poorly for being in my type of situation. I will NEVER pay these people a penny. I will go back to where the bill originated to pay it.
