They called me 6 times in one day.....from 201-221-3300. I wish I could come up with a magical device that would stop these phone calls from happening. I never picked up....only let the phone ring. My number is on the do not call list too. I hate this...how is this company getting away with this?

This scammer still calls mobile (cell phone) numbers in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. Their recording states that the victim has had their student loans (this victim doesn't have any student loans, and the mobile number in question has never been affiliated with a student loan) flagged for debt forgiveness by President Obama. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer any personal or financial information.
