This is a known scam company called "card services" that tries to get you to give them your credit card numbers so they can "get you a lower interest rate." They have been in several newspaper articles and news reports as a fraud.

credit card services. the message says they can lower your credit card interest rates. They are very vague and try to make it sound as if they are calling from one of your own credit cards.

When answering initial call an American female voice was pre-recorded stating that MY credit card company would like to lower my interest rate. I found this interesting since I have no credit cards. I followed the prompts to speak to a live person... who was foreign ( I could barely understand him)...India possibly...I kept asking him what credit card, he kept saying "your MasterCard/Visa." I asked him the name on the card and he said "yours" I told him impossible because I do not have any credit cards and he hung up on me. I am on the do not call registry. My call lasted 1 minute 14 seconds.

Misleading call about lowering interest rate on credit card. Made it sound like they were affiliated with my credit card company, but they are not (which I knew, but this would easily fool many other people, especially elderly, poor).

Credit card phishing. Offered me a low fixed interest rate on my credit card, but didn't know my name, the name of my card's issuing bank, or the card type (Visa, Mast, etc.). Caller hung up when I persisted in asking for such info.
