At first my research came up short, at least I thought it did, but actually it ended up being helpful. It turned out the similar phone number with the last 4 digits was the same company calling me because the do not call service that another blog comment suggested worked for this phone number too. Just call 866-246-7196, give the calling phone number and the receiving phone number to be added to the do not call list.

It was a pre-recorded message wanting to sell a vehicle warranty because they suspected my current warranty will or had expired. The message wanted me to press one to speak to a representative or nine to be removed from their list. I opted to press nine.
