Fake Google ID. Another low-life scammer.

They called. I called and a machine stay something about a do not call list. Either they put me on it or they are telling me they are on the do not call list. Either way, i just blocked them.
I get at least 3 known calls a day that I must block. Not necessarily from this group. When i say "known" calls, I have over 100 numbers blocked. The 3 new ones are unblocked unwanted callers. I am on the national do not call list but that doesn't seem to matter. Usually it is for student loan scams. It is horrible and now i never answer my phone. Anyone have any solutions?
Pretending to be Google. Caller ID said "Web Services Company" Daily non stop automated call pretending to be Google, until I got a person on the phone and they hung up when I said I was not the owner. I am head of marketing though, evidently they are just interested in siphoning off money from small business owners.
