(201) 338-6524 Robo call recorded 23 January 2018 ("Alert System with Visa Mastercard Account Services...congratulations on your excellent payment history..." HA!) SCAM

A misleading robo call that opens sounding very official "Hi, this is the alert system with Visa Mastercard Account Services with important changes to your account..." until the misplaced phrase "...before the next billing cycle". I'm sure everybody receiving this call hears "because of your excellent payment history you qualify for zero percent interest rate..." whether they have an excellent payment history or not.

Their call insults our intelligence on many levels, including their "shotgun" approach to making mass phone calls, hoping to find a few people who are suckers, and their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this insulting, automated, intrusive and unwanted robo call:

female voice: "Hi, this is the alert system with Visa Mastercard Account Services with important changes to your account before the next billing cycle. If you received your new rates by mail and wish not to be contacted, press 3. Congratulations on your excellent payment history. You now qualify for a zero percent interest rate on all your credit card accounts. This is a limited time offer and you must respond immediately. Press 1 now to speak to our qualification department and complete the enrollment process."

NOTE: Why would I have to press 3 to be put on their Do Not Call list when I'm already on the Government Do Not Call list?
