The National Republican Congressional Committee advertising their platform or candidate. When I answered the call, they asked for a person who does not live here. I attempted to determine who was calling. The caller eventually told me he was calling on behalf of The National Republican Congressional Committee. I informed them that we were on a do not call list, he replied "we are exempt from the DNC." When I did not reply to that, he said, "Exactly," in a snide tone, implying that I had no recourse against him or his company not honoring do not call lists and then hung up on me. I called the number back and was redirected to an automated service on which I entered my number onto "their" do not call list.
