I subscribe to a app called CallControl that is suppose to block these kinds of calls. CallControl is not cheap and yet it blocks very little.

Here is just one more example of a call that they should have caught but completely failed to block. I'm beginning to believe that CallControl has a vested interest in allowing these calls through. Maybe the scammer pays CallControl or maybe CallControl is actually the scammer. In any case. CallControl does a piss poor job at doing anything other than bill my credit card and allow scammers to call me day and night....
