this is a total scam...the idiot that answers the phone on call back (which might be a cell phone) answers "thank u for calling the i.r.s." idiot..lol...he hung up when I called him out on the scam then blocked my number from calling back....everyone and their friends should call him and let him know he's an idiot...201-605-6840

Received 2 calls from 201.605.6840 within an hour of each other from Indian accented male representing himself as being an IRS agent. The recorded message included the phone number instructing that I call back immediately as there was a serious IRS problem. Cited that my address was under IRS investigation, property will be seized, yada yada. Basically same experience as the above two comments.

Indian accent foreign make called and claimed he is from Internal Revenue Services Criminal investigation division. When I told him its "Service" not "Services" he hung up.

A foreign male called my phone and left a message on my cell phone on 1/11/15 around 2:00pm that he was an IRS officer an my property was being seized along with bank accounts. I called back 5 mins later he answered the phone to say that an arrest or warrant would be after I'm served with legal papers pertaining to the IRS.
