These people call me incessantly telling me they're from Microsoft.

In June 2016 my computer shut down and was locked. No more than a minute later someone called me from this number claiming to be from the Microsoft network and informing that my computer had become a threat to said network.

I'm not savvy when it comes to this sort of thing but they said it was going to be $600.00 to fix my computer and have it up and running again.

Well, I ponied up the money and they held up their end of the bargain and had me up and running again. After that I didn't give it much thought.

Here we are now a year later and I'm being called again saying that they've detected hackers on my computer despite the fact that I haven't had used that computer in six months nor have I even had internet access at my house in that time.

They were nice enough to assure me that they were going to let the authorities know that none of the wrongdoing that had taken place on my computer was perpetrated by me. Gee, thanks, I guess???

Anyway, they keep asking me when I'm going to get a new computer so they can protect me. I swear I've been called half a dozen times or more in the last week and a half. They came seem to drive the point home enough how important it is that I get protection from them.

Not really sure what to do so I just keep ignoring them.

I got a call from this number and "James Morgan" said he was from Microsoft , and I owed Microsoft money.
