Discussion of Annual Card Review. Mentioned reducing interest on credit to less than 7%. The message indicated that credit would have to be at least $2,500. I receive several of these a week from a number of different phone numbers. I know this is a prevalent problem. Is there ANY way to stop these people? The phone numbers they use include the one above,as well as the following: (540)625-8740; (318)306-8587; (202) 633-4781; (508)420-7410; (918)866-7810.

Offering to low/consolidate my credit card debt if I have more then 3,000/4,000 of credit card debt. The debt amount changes all the time. They'll ask if I have multiple credit cards and how much my interest rates are. They ask how much debt I have. I lie just to keep them connected and try to get more information from them. They usually hang up on me though.
