Scam updates for 202-241-7013. This # used to be a fake IRS #. Now, the scammers are pretending to be with the Sun Trust Bank. I just called this # to see if they are still using the same # to scam people. Back in Oct 21, 2014, when I called this number, I got "This magicjack customer is unable to take your call." it was MJ automated answering system. I traced the number and confirmed that this is not a landline. It's a MagicJack #. So, I called again to see if any changes again. Today, a guy who sounded like Indian, picked up the phone. He said, "hello?" like picking up a phone at home. So, I asked him, what is this number? Then he said, "This is Sun Trust Bank." So, I asked him the location. Then he said, he is in Washington DC. I finally asked for the actual address. He could not answer me and asked me what's my name. I said I don't need to tell you my name. He told me that he will not give his address unless I say my name. Anyway, this is still a scam number. People, please be careful with this number. Also, according to SunTrust Bank, there is no SunTrust Bank in Washington DC area. If you receive a phone call from them, please hang up. Never give them your information.

This is IRS Scam number. First of all, someone called me with Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department (GA) number with automated system and left me (202)241-7013 to call back to talk with Officer Michael Black. The message stated with "This is Deputy James Corner." I found later that there is no such person working at Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department (GA). Also, be careful with a person by the name of officer Michael Black at (202)241-7013 number. I just spoke to him. This guy has an American name, but spoke with very heavy accent. He asked for $72,000.00 over the phone and explained to me why IRS is looking for me. He simply said that I did not fill out a form called Form 61 for my tax return. I never heard it before and I realized this is some kind of scam. So, I called Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department to verify if there is an officer by that name and told them what's going on.
Here is the most recent IRS Scam updates for 202-241-7013 !!!! I got IRS Scam updates for 202-241-7013 on 10/20/2014. I've been trying to find out what these scam people do and tried to see what kind of people are involved in this crime. Every time I call this number, they have different man/woman pick up the phone. And they all sounded like they are from overseas most of the time. After I called this number so many times, they started not to pick up the phone by live persons. They stopped picking up my calls because they may have recognized my phone number. So, instead of live persons, they had automated system to pick the calls. Anyway, I called to see if they are still pulling a con. Now, if you dial 202-241-7013, it says, "This magicjack customer is unable to take your call." So, now this is a magicjack number according to the automated answering system.
We received the same call. The first call came from a local number, when I google went to our local sheriffs office, who said something about a non-bailable warrant. Then the said someone from this 202# will call, so called Michael Black.... be alert for this scam
