Since this individual is impersonating the IRS you should also report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA). You can send an email to Complaints@tigta.treas.gov or file an online complaint by completing their "Online Form" located on their website, http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
Please visit our "Report Phishing" website (http://www.irs.gov/uac/Report-Phishing) and click on "Complaint Assistant". This will allow you to file a complaint with the FTC and identify the complaint as an IRS complaint.
Alternatively you can file a complaint directly with the FTC by visiting http://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.
Whether you use the IRS link or file the complaint directly with the FTC, add "IRS Hostile Call" in the Comments section of the complaint.
Individuals who have been victimized by this scam and have provided one or more Green Dot MoneyPak numbers to the scammer should also notify Green Dot directly at 800-473-3636 to report the scam and open an investigation.

You should not pick up calls from this phone number at all. I made the mistake of doing so and nearly crave in and paid $3,000+ for whatever taxes they claimed I owe. They claimed that they sent two notices to my home and that they have the tracking number to prove it. The people I spoke with -- all have Indian accent. They said that I can't talk to anyone about this and if I didn't pay, then they would issue an arrest warrant. After looking up these reviews during my phone call, my nerves calmed down and turned down the plan of making a payment. A waste of my 45 minutes. I even called my local police department to question about whether an arrest warrant is issued for me, and the phone operator confirmed that it was a IRS scam; IRS would not call you. So pathetic for them to prey on anyone they have bits of personal information. Beware!

I received a call 2 times today. The guy has an indian accent and left a message to give him a call as IRS staff. It's a good thing i researched what is this all about this no.
