"Officer Jack Peterson" called and said that they were attempting to collect a debt and then transfered me to a senior officer. The senior officer tried to get me to verify personal information. He tried to tell me he would call my work and have me fired for theft of a payday loan. I filed a police report. I believe this to be fraud I encourage anyone who this guy calls to report it to your local police and put a flag on your credit report in case they try to steal your identity.

I received a call from this number, the caller stated they were an officer Liz Taylor from the Food & Drug Administration telling me they confiscated a package with my information on it, and did I know it was illegal to order drugs online. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and if the FDA had any problems with me I would expect them to contact me in writing. She said "no maam we will proceed with arrest." I said "ok" . I don't know who these people are, but I did not believe Liz Taylor worked for the FDA.

He called my company asking for an employee, I informed him if was calling for collections he is not allowed to call here. If he really needed to speak to the person he should call him at home not work.
(we are a production co., employees cannot take personal calls). He started to ask me if I did not take him seriously, I again informed him not to call here again and hung up on him. He was saying he was Jack Peterson from Jack Peterson Law Firm, thick accent and extremly rude, so I was rude right back. I figured if my employee was dealing with a law firm it would be from MN not another state all together.

Someone with a thick accent called our toll-free number saying they are Ofcr. Kevin Anderson asking for (unintelligle). They asked that the person call this number back. Reverse lookup shows a landline in Washington DC.

'Officer Jack Peterson' of the "United Financial Crime Dept'. called telling me this is the last day for me to pay for an outstanding payday loan. He was trying to 'verify' my Social Security Number by giving me what he thought were the last four digits and asking me to complete the rest....
He left a message stating that the U.S. Govt' would put my SSN on 'hold' if I did not clear this up today....So I cleared it up by calling the local branch of the FBI and reporting the attempted fraud....
Do not answer this number or call back. DO report it to your local FBI branch in hopes that eventually this person will be tracked down and prosecuted for HIS crimes!

"Officer Jack Peterson" representing the 'United Financial Crime Dept'. called telling me that I have an outstanding debt from a Payday Loan Co. and this was the last day to settle it.
If I did not respond he threatened that the U.S. Government was going to put a 'hold' on my SSN. I called the local FBI office and reported the attempted fraud... This individual did seem to be of an Eastern Indian dialect...
Do not answer calls from this number but DO call the FBI to report the attempted fraud and give them any information you can from their voice mails or messages!

An individual called and said he was an "officer" at a law firm. Says we owe money for unpaid balance, but I know better because we have NO bills with the exception of our mortgage. The caller has an East Indian accent and becomes threatening when questioned. They constantly harass at all hours of the day and night. This is a SCAM!!! Do not answer calls from theis number.

I've been receiving call from this number all week long. The man calling has a foreign accent, Indian I believe, and he says his name is Office Jack peterson. He claims thats I'm being sued by a payday loan company because I received a $300 loan that I have not paid back. When I called the number back I was transferred to his "superior officer" and he proceeded to tell me that I could settle this over the phone or decide to take it to court. I refused to make a decision and told him that I would call him back later after I got more people involved and did some research. Since the first call I have not answered any of them and today I received the same message but he added that today was the last day to settle this matter and that tomorrow morning something would happen but my voicemail cut him off before he could finish, and the last four digits of my social they gave me were incorrect. My mom and I have done research on this supposed company and she was disconnected when she called them back and asked them some questions about their location and such. I've come to the conclusion that this is a scam but I'm not really sure on how to resolve it and get them to stop calling me.

They call from different numbers daily, hanging up and calling back over and over again. Then they give up and call my work number. I saw something on the news about them the other day in Minnesota, and it said don't do anything, they threat investigations, however, most of the financial charges are bogus, so don't pay. First guy was Officer Jack Peterson, obviously a call center rep overseas by his dialect, then he transfered me to Thomas Green another law enforcement for the Financial Crime Division.

Also when I did talk do someone, (these people are calling from a foreign country), and I asked for proof of the debt to be mailed to me, he told me to speak english that he didn't understand me. Ummm, English is the only language I speak! And then he said he wouldn't send me proof of debt until I paid said debt. Huh?

We're experiencing the same problem with this same person at our office. He has called numerous times requesting to speak to our office manager, claiming he needs to talk to him/her about unpaid balance for our google listing. However, our google listing is free.
He also refuses to send any proof of our balance and claims that we have an unpaid bill. He was very rude and even began yelling at our staff members on the phone.
