This individual called and this is a total scam. IGNORE!!!!!

LOL Eric Smith called me today :) Wanted 1200 paid within two hours for outstanding taxes for 2012. He was yelling at me that I was not responding to a certified mail from them. He said I had two hours to pay with .... listen to this..... prepaid debit card from CVS, cause the check or account info would take to long to process. He said that if I won't pay that the warrant will be issued for my arrest!!!!!! which would result according to mister Smith in additional $70.000 in advocate and court fees. I called the police department and they told me to ignore it :)

Ask for my husband by name saying he had a legal matter to settle. Please have him call back
Said he was Lt Eric Smith. Yah right with an eastern accent! He said well you ask your husband what this could be. Please have him call and left that number

Just ignore this is a scam. He called himself Eric Smith with a middle eastern accent. Could be Indian or something. He left a message with the number to call 202-241-7811 and my investigation number is CM100177.
There was a background noise that sounded like many other people calling in.

IGNORE THESE PIECES OF S**T. THEY ARE FAKE, LYING A-HOLES TRYING TO STEAL FROM INNOCENT PEOPLE.

Indian-sounding individual called multiple times providing multiple different names, badge numbers and addresses. Caller requested $2,000 to cancel an arrest warrant for 'providing incorrect information on a 2012 tax return'. Threatening that all assets would be seized and was being sued for $66,000. Visited local police station and officers told me to simply ignore it.

Don't fall for it. Be smart.
