Called me that I had committed tax fraud in 2007 and 2009 (lines 7, 29 and 70) and I needed to get $1938.00 to a place to prevent from being arrested. Phone 202-241-8354. Name Jim Arthur - Badge# 0786 - he spoke in a an Indian accent and gave me a case number 00/100/3617, and a police warrant number 88C2410. He didn't ask me for any info other than my phone number and first name. Not sure what this is all about but it sounds like a scam.
Caller: Jim Arthur
Recorded message, sounded like a robot. Said "my" (didn't specify who at the house) SS# is being investigated and that "I" am to call this number 202-241-8354 the second I get this voice message . It is most urgent and if I do not respond I will be considered an habitual offender and if I call this number he can perhaps help me with this problem. Riiiight.
Called my daughters phone left voicemail.
Claimed there was a warrant for my arrests and he is from the IRS. I called him supposedly sent certified letter to home and the I have been having personal business outside country. I haven't claimed on my taxes. I don't even own a passport or been anywhere. Supposly officer Paul Watson
Fake. # asking for social security
Claimed he was a police officer and had a warrant for my wife's arrest. He yawned in the middle of his little speech, too. He had a heavy accent and couldn't pronounce the simplest names correctly. Wanted us to call him back to straighten out the matter. Looked him up and he's a total scam artist, and very obviously so. A couple of week's ago my sister-in-law received a very similar call and figured out he was a scammer right away. These guys are clowns.
