This number is a phishing number. Do not give them any info at all. Report them to the U.S. GOVERNMENT. do not call list! Pass the info to a local TV station so more people will know about it.

Called and left a message that said in a harsh tone that I should not ignore the call, and that I should respond before court action was taken. No other information was provided. When I called back, the individual who answered, in a thick accent, said he was from the IRS Inspector General Office and he needed to locate my file. He pretended to be ruffling papers as to be looking for a file. When I asked for his IRS employee ID number and his supervisor name, and let him know that I am fully aware that the KRS dose not call taxpayers to warn of collection action before first notifying the taxpayer in writing, first. He immediately hung up. I called back again, but no one would answer the phone. What a cheap SCAM! I did leave a very stern message on their voice mail. No one out there should be fooled or intimidated by any one attempting this kind of SCAM. The federal government agencies employees have certain protocol they follow, and especially the IRS.

Told me I owed $4,481 in back taxes from 09/10 that I "willfully withheld" from the United States government. Told me the IRS has filed a four count affidavit against me and my wife. He tried yelling at me while reading the "affidavit", telling me if I interrupt him again he will file the affidavit and an IRS agent will be at my door within the hour to arrest me and take me to the courthouse. These are the type of people who you wish you could reach through the phone lines for.

Received numerous calls from this number. Voice mail claimed to by an IRS agent "Officer Julie Smith". Called back above number. Was answered by a person with a deep gruff voice with a lot of background noise possibly from manual type writers. Couldn't understand. Hung up.

***Call Type: SCAMMER/Visher***

This number called my land line today at 10:09am. I do not have an answering machine on my phone any more but I do have Caller ID.

When I called the number back to see why a number from Washington, D.C. would be calling me this guy answered instead of the normal answering system used by the IRS. This person claimed to be the IRS and asked me my phone number and name to "look up" why I was being called. He then informed me that I was being sued for Tax Evasion for the years 2005 and 2006 and asked if I had a Lawyer. When I informed him that I did not owe any taxes because I haven't worked since 1997 and that while I didn't have an Attorney now that I would GET one, he hung up.

I then proceeded to find the IRS website and found that this IS a SCAM!!! Learn about it here: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Reiterate ... -Telephone-Scam

Then go to http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and report it IMMEDIATELY!!!!

It is strongly suggested that you go to and inform yourselves about the various IRS Scams that the IRS is already aware of. If you run across a new one be SURE to report it to the link given above!!!

'Dot Heads' with a DC area code posing as IRS agents. Threating calls - arrested and jailed if I don't provide them personal information. In the process of tracking them down. If found an obama ISIS beheading will occur but with a dull knife. Kill all scammers.

Scam, Called saying that there was a tax evasion suit against me. Didn't even ask for Proper I.D., I.E. billing address, zip anything that the IRS would ask.

Called me saying there was lawsuit against me for tax evasion. I called the Indian accented person out that it was bogus. He then became frustrated and hung up.
