I have received multiple calls from the "IRS" saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I had a feeling it was a scam so I didn't call it back.

They called me too and same threatened to sue me. Both time I spoke to a person told them I knew it was fake. The IRS does not call they use the mail. I told the I reported them to the police and FBI. Last year they threatened me if I didn't be quiet and listen to what they said.i said FU and hung up. When I talked to the FBI they said these scammers use burner phones and can't be found, they just hang on them if the keep calling block them.

Just called and said the same thing on a recording - THIS IS THE IRS - INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE FINAL NOTICE AND THEY ARE FILING A LAWSUIT.....

Got a call from this number at 7:30 this morning and a woman left a message saying that the IRS is suing me and I must call them back immediately. Sure....the IRS calls from a cell phone and leaves a message they are suing me....SCAM!!!
