The number 202-351-3916 continuously calls to lower our credit card interest rate, but unfortunately, when I press "1" to speak with a representative and ask them to remove my name from the list, they hang up on me.

When you call this number back, a recording states “The person you have called is unavailable right now”.

The recorded message implied that there was a problem with my credit card. The message prompted me to select "1" to address the problem; a live representative then came onto the phone. He was selling an unsolicited credit card consolidation type service. This company has been advised many times not to call this number. The calls are received repeatedly, but up until now, I have not documented it.

They ask if you want to lower the interest rate on your credit card. In the message they say you can opt-out by pressing a number but that does not work. When you get a live person and ask who they are/who are they working for, they hang up
