I had the same problem. They asked for my account info (which I gave, but after I found out about the scam I changed immediately) and then a deposit of $100 to the Indo-American Charity Foundation. His name was "Alex Williams" (funny name for an Indian dude. I made him upset after asking where he was from and he hung up. I called the Federal Trade Commission and reported them. Don't give these people any info. I made a mistake but got it cleaned up pretty fast. The govt will never call you about these things and you have to apply to receive anything anyway. Be careful.

The # was left as a call back number in the message I got several days ago recorded on my machine. A man claiming to be an employer if the federal government told me I was chosen to receive a grant for $10,000. He spoke with a foreign accent and did not provide any more info. Scam to rob people off!
