I got a call from this number at 3:00 am !!! It was a female voice saying that Curtis called and left a reference number . Google does not do this as reported on other sites .

I have Call Control. Everytime I try to start 2 step verification and Code, it's blocked overwhelming- ly by a tremendous number of everycaller folks. The numbers for it being false are OVERWHELMING. I can never reach Google and their revolving door of "Steps to solve a problem", someone please contact Google and if it's not a back door designed by Google, to fix the damn problem.

"All you people on here are so stupid" This is not a scam but a legit requirement from Google. If you have a Google account/Gmail Account and you enabled two step verification for security with a phone number then this is the policy they use to verify and protect your account by sending you a 6 digit code. The phone number you provide can wither be called with the code or can be text to you so no this not a scam! If you don't want to be contacted and left vulnerable on your account then remove your phone number from it and turn 2 step verification off it's simple.

I got the call from DC at 1:20am in Texas. Added voicemail, then text message.....all in Chinese. WTH?

I was expecting a google call and as my dog was sick on the floor I didn't look when I answered. I got a code. And then I looked!! Chad McCain. Sad losers everywhere trying to scam. Changed password. Get rid of trash like this. It sounds like the google voice but it's a scam.
