A company called Card Services, phone #202-499-1488, has been calling several times a day for quite some time. I do not answer when I see their no. on my called ID; however, today I answered and waited for a rep. When I told him to put me on the do not call list as I am not interested, the rep. just hung up on me. I had not called the Do Not Call Registry for some time, so I registered today; however, upon reading info. on the website, the area code of 202 is not included, so how does this help when some area code calls cannot be stopped. This is obviously a scam and there are many complaints about this number on the internet. I am 73 yrs. old and terminally ill - why isn't there something that can be done about these annoying calls. If you don't answer and they hang up, then I have to delete the call on my answering machine to stop the beep for an incoming call - so annoying. There is no info. about them other than the phone number. They are not concerned since they know the laws and will continue to harrass people.
